Attend the 2008 Southwest Education Alliance Teacher Career Fair to learn about exciting and professionally rewarding teaching opportunities.  Visit with representatives of member school districts, receive information on licensure and lateral entry, distribute resumes, and even interview for specific teaching positions.

 The Career Fair is sponsored by the Southwest Education Alliance in collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  The Alliance represents over 285,000 students in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the nation.  The southwest region of North Carolina is made up of gently rolling hills and is nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.  The area offers one of the most dynamic economies in the U.S. and boasts of some of the nation’s largest financial institutions, great universities, outstanding shopping, fine arts, and sports teams. 

Pre-Registration for the Teacher Career Fair has closed; however, walk-in registrations will still be accepted.  Please plan to join us at Hickory Ridge High School on Monday, June 16, 2008.  We look forward to seeing you!
